Spring Shoot

 

Details:

  • Date: Monday, May 11 @ 6:30pm -Alternate bad weather date: Wednesday, May20 @ 6:45pm
  • Theme: Spring time
  • Location: Arbor Hills in Plano.  Take a moment to see where the location is and how much travel time will be required. Please allow enough time to arrive at the location as well as find parking.
  • This is a grassy area; bug spray is a very good idea.
  • We will be shooting near sunset time, so it is critical that you arrive on time.  Additionally, we will be walking the trail to get to our shooting spot so if you are late, it may not be easy to find us.

What to wear:

  • Casual summer short dresses.  Pastel colors.  
  • Shoes - cowboy boots, flats, or sneakers.  Heels are not a good choice because we will be in grassy areas.  We will be walking a bit to get to our shooting spot so if you cannot easily walk in your shoes - some comfortable slip-on shoes you can walk in are needed.  
  • Accessories such as bracelets, necklaces and earrings to complete your look.
  • Please try and select your outfit at least 1 week prior to the shoot.  Make sure it fits well and is not wrinkled.  If you are ordering items, make sure they will arrive well enough in time that if they don't work for you, you have time to select another outfit.  Additionally, when ordering clothing online, they can arrive a bit wrinkled, make sure clothing is pressed and ready to go when you arrive for the shoot.
  • Before coming to the shoot - try your outfit on.  Make sure everything fits and you are able to comfortably move around.  You may be sitting, standing, and squatting.  Ideally, you will be able to do all of these things in your outfit.  Clothing that is too restrictive or short makes it difficult to vary your poses.
  • If you choose something sleeveless, know that you may be raising your arms.  Don't forget about your underarms ;)

Make-Up:


  • Softer glam look.  Slightly heavier than normal everyday make-up
  • No shimmer (it's reflective) - matte products are best.
  • Lashes are fine as long as they are not so long that it is difficult to see your eyes.  
  • Bring along lip color and hairbrush for touch-ups
  • Be photo ready with hair and make-up when you arrive.
